Jeannette Lichner, Corporate Governance Consultant

Jeannette is part of the part of the Advanced Boardroom Excellence corporate governance team.  She provides support as a governance and regulatory expert and executive coach.

Jeannette has significant experience at board and executive leadership level, and frequently publishes articles on governance, regulation and leadership, including her most recent published works “Building Harmonious Relationships with Regulators” and “Post Brexit: What are Compliance Leaders of all Levels to Do?” In 2016 Jeannette attended the Davos Economic Forum, as a member of the FTI Consulting delegation.

She has over 20 years’ financial service banking experience in corporate roles with a comprehensive knowledge of business functions across, finance, operations, investment banking, human resources, technology, compliance, and risk management, followed by nearly 10 years as a consultant. She has extensive international experience having worked in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, USA and Africa.

Jeannette holds a BSc Commerce degree and MS Accounting degree from the University of Virginia and is certified as a CPA in the State of New York.

Jeannette is an accredited coach and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and Heads of Conduct Risk, an industry initiated working group. Jeannette is also a member of the Personal Finance Education Forum a charity that brings together a range of firms and individuals involved in forwarding the personal finance agenda in education, and is a Companion Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
