Advanced Boardroom Excellence is passionate about mentoring and the development of senior women and with that in mind we have created a ‘Panel of Influential Women’ to shine a light on top business women and female leaders in their field.
Our Influential Panel members are successful women in their own right, occupying senior executive and board-level positions from varying industries.
Caroline is deputy chair of the Equalities and Human Rights Commission, vice president of Carers UK, Associate at Marylebone Executive Search and founder of CW’s Consulting Box. Caroline held a number of positions for the BT Group, where she was formerly director, People & Policy.
Emer was appointed president of BT Global Services (GS) UK in August 2010. In this role Emer leads the UK Global Services business, and from 1 April 2014 her remit was expanded to include responsibility for GS’s corporate customers globally, with a multi-billion pound P&L. Emer is also responsible for the systems integrators business worldwide, partnering on major contracts across all sectors and for GS marketing in the UK.
Currently, Imelda is a non executive director and chair of the remuneration committee at William Hill Plc, Mitchells and Butlers Plc (UK’s largest pub and restaurant chain with circa 1700 sites and brands such as All Bar One, Browns and Harvester), Mothercare Plc and First Group Plc (one of the largest operators of bus, transit and rail franchises in UK, USA and Canada).
Marian is a non executive director of Friends Life Group and certain of its subsidiaries and is a member of its remuneration committee. She is also a non executive director of Shires Income plc (a listed investment trust managed by Aberdeen Asset) and of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme where she is a member of the audit and remuneration committees.
Syreeta is the head of global recruitment strategy & programs at Citi. In this role she is accountable for leading and managing the strategy on global recruitment processes and systems, directing a global social media and recruitment marketing strategy as well as managing the program office for all Global Recruitment projects.
