Ross Emerson, Executive Coach
Ross is an experienced coach, leadership development consultant and NED, drawing on over 30-years of consulting and corporate experience gained with RBC, Barclays and CIBC, in Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Monaco, and India.
Ross has coached senior professionals across Canada, the UK, and Continental Europe and also mentors MBA students.
In addition to a successful career in financial services spanning over 25-years, Ross has served as a consultant and NED on a wide range of not-for-profit organisations and projects.
In his corporate career he progressed in senior roles across banking strategy, risk management, learning and development, sales, wealth management, and enterprise leadership. Achieving the Royal Bank of Canada’s Private Banking Gold Award and Barclays Chairman’s Awards for individual contribution to Monaco and the Europe Region respectively.
He has served as an NED on the boards of two UK charities and most recently served on the board for the Canadian Centre for Diversity as Chair of its Development Committee as well as being Treasurer for a short period.
Ross broadened his UK leadership development expertise and experience working in the not-for-profit sector. He held roles as Deputy Fundraising Director at the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and as Development Director on the Executive Committee of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Prior to this he was part of the World Youth Day team organising the visit of Pope John Paul II to Toronto.
Ross has an MBA, BA (Hons), and a Certificate in International Business Management, in addition to banking qualifications including his UK Investment Management Certificate, Canadian Securities Course, and Personal Financial Planner designation in Canada.
